My Story

As an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant, I am truly passionate about helping couples and families celebrate life's most important moments. It brings me immense joy to craft and deliver a personalised ceremony that perfectly reflects the unique vision and desires of those I work with. Being part of such significant occasions is a privilege I cherish deeply.

Originally from the UK, my family and I relocated to Australia in 2005. It’s a decision I’ve never regretted, as I instantly fell in love with this beautiful country, which I’m proud to now call home.

The journey toward becoming a celebrant began after my son’s wedding. The deeply personal and meaningful experience left a lasting impression on me and I felt an overwhelming sense of connection to the role. I knew right away that this was my calling, so I began my celebrant training without hesitation. The more I learned, the more my enthusiasm grew.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of so many joyful and emotional celebrations.  Whether it’s a wedding, a naming ceremony or a life celebration, each ceremony is unique and I never tire of witnessing the love, reflection and connection they bring.

Some say I have a quick wit and knack for thinking on my feet. I love bringing a little laughter to those around me. As a celebrant, being able to improvise is key and I believe a balance of humour, sincerity and professionalism makes a ceremony truly special.  That’s what I bring to the table - just being myself.

I have worked in administration for many years but in my spare time, I am passionate about looking after myself by keeping active and eating healthily (most of the time!). I love traveling, camping and spending time with our dogs. Life is all about balance.
